My Utmost for His Highest (Quote that Honestly Convicted Me)

The real danger in spiritual laziness is that we do not want to be stirred up— all we want to hear about is a spiritual retirement from the world. Yet Jesus Christ never encourages the idea of retirement— He says, “Go and tell My brethren…” (Matthew 28:10).

Talk about a hit in the gut! Whoa!

Yes, I am guilty of this, oh boy…God forbid I ever just want to enjoy God without walking the walk of sharing the Love God showed me to others!

‘Spiritual Retirement’ indeed! Thanks for the reminder Mr. Chambers though you are with God now (that is when retire when we go home to be with God) your message still rings so very true and convicting to this day…
