Where’s Your Focus?

Mine has been on things of present, things around Walking through deep waters of the pounding God’s Love resounding through me. He reminds ‘Be of good cheer,’ ‘There is trouble yes, but I have overcome the world.’ the silent spaces in the Bible, have you ever read them?  The space that pressed me, was this one:

“And John’s disciples came and took up the body and buried it. Then they went and told Jesus. When Jesus heard it, He withdrew from there privately in a boat to a solitary place.” Matthew 14: 12-13 AMP

See the breath between?

Note Jesus in pain, as He left to be alone and reflect?

Right after that however crowds looked for Jesus, not giving Him so much as a moment of solace. But Jesus responded with kindness even while hurting…Matthew 14 the rest of verse 13 through verse 14.

But when the crowds heard of it, they followed Him [by land] on foot from the towns. When He went ashore and saw a great throng of people, He had compassion (pity and deep sympathy) for them and cured their sick.

So often we read past breaths in the Bible that God calls us to pay attention to. (I know I do, but when I ask God to show something new to me, he always does!)

This is why Jesus can understand us, what we go through. Through the things said, and the things not said, just put yourself in His sandals for a few moments and you’ll see a 1/100th of the picture.

And you’ll know why He is just so beyond description of good…
