God’s Courtroom

From the time I was just 12 years of age, I loved the descriptions of heaven. The one in Revelation with the foundation of gemstones always fascinated my mind as a kid.

I looked up all the gemstones and imagined them in heaven!

Recently I’ve come across Daniel 7:9-10, another description of God that I love.

As I looked,

thrones were set in place,
and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow;
the hair of his head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire,
and its wheels were all ablaze.
A river of fire was flowing,
coming out from before him.
Thousands upon thousands attended him;
ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
The court was seated,
and the books were opened

As a child I loved this passage because I could picture God opening up the Eternal Court Room session. I’ve always loved law, more so God’s laws!

The picture painted above just makes me want to sit on God’s lap as the court is seated and books are being opened.

I love books first off, second that just sounds like a neat day!

Anyhow, God has rained, is raining and will continue to do so forever.
